I left Syria as a teenager just after I finished high school, I wanted to study law at university but the war forced me to leave.
In Turkey there is little opportunity for work or study but it has given me the chance to explore other things, I love to sing and am forming a band with Syrian and Turkish friends, we sing in Arabic, Turkish and Kurdish.
I enjoy the theater and have started acting classes, already I have taken a lead role in a film about the war.
