Central to Identity Without Borders is the inclusion of the multiple voices and multi-layered narratives that our volunteers and partners from diaspora communities have provided. The museums' rich collections are further enhanced by these narratives and give new perspectives on the objects and labels, re-linking them back to their origins and often giving them a contemporary context.
